STEINWEISS BOOK COVER DESIGN
This is a cover for a hypothetical book about Alex Steinweiss, the designer who invented record album cover art. I wanted to make the design reflect Steinweiss's unique style by using bright colors, illustrated shapes, and his iconic stript signature. I also chose to incorporate a record to reference his career.
I also designed a handout to go with the book cover that could serve as a table of contents. The image is the very first record album cover that Steinweiss designed, and I drew inspiration from this cover for my own design.
